San Francisco Bay Sox: Girls Baseball Clinics (San Francisco, CA, USA) September 2022 – February 2023
 
FREE clinics are offered once a month Sep-Feb and are designed for beginning players ages 7-14 to learn the basics & fundamentals of the game and prepare to play on Spring teams in a safe-supportive space. For more information, visit SF Bay Sox

Tucson Desert Art Museum: ¡Pleibol! In the Barrios and the Big Leagues (Tucson, AZ, USA) January 14 – April 9, 2023
 
Developed in collaboration with the National Museum of American History, the ¡Pleibol! exhibit examines how generations of Latinos/as have helped make the game what it is today. From youth and community teams to the Major League, the exhibition reveals how baseball brings people together regardless of race, class, or gender. These inspirational baseball stories reflect larger themes in American history that connect us all, on and off the diamond. For details, visit Pleibol

International Women’s Baseball Center: Maybelle Blair’s 96th Birthday Fundraiser (online) January 1 – 31, 2023
 
Maybelle Blair has been leveling the playing field for decades and remains committed to creating opportunities for youth in baseball. Celebrate her 96th birthday this month with us by donating or becoming an IWBC member at www.iwbc.org and continuing her important work.

 
 
 
Melbourne Women’s Baseball Tournament: Master Classes (Dingley Village, VIC, Australia) January 26, 2023
 

MASTERCLASS – What is it? Although the tournament is focused on providing playing opportunities over four days, we will also be hosting Masterclass sessions to provide additional learning opportunities for players. You don’t need to register, just turn up to one (or all) of the sessions that fit into your schedule. You won’t know until day one when you find out your own team’s schedule, but once you do, we encourage you to take part in some of the sessions we have planned. Masterclasses will be hosted by a variety of experienced coaches including international coaches from the USA and Japan, Aus based Emeralds players, and Emeralds Head Coach Jason Pospishil.


Texas A&M Baseball: Women’s Clinic (College Station, TX, USA) January 26, 2023
 
The night will include dinner, a fashion show, an opportunity to view and shop local boutiques, and your own personal chance to pitch and hit at Olsen Field. You will have the chance to grow your knowledge about baseball, our players, and our coaching staff through a Q&A session. Find more details at Texas A&M Baseball

MLB Grit: Girls ID Tour (Seattle, WA, USA) January 28, 2023
 
Major League Baseball and USA Baseball will host four stops on the 2023 MLB Grit: Girls ID Tour. Each MLB Grit event is a one-day workout for female baseball players that serves as an opportunity for MLB and USA Baseball staff to identify talent for elite girls baseball development events throughout the year. There is no cost to participate. Event is 4:00pm – 8:00pm PT; EL1 Puyallup, 239 W. Stewart Ave., Puyallup, WA 98371.

Swing Elite Girls Baseball: Tryouts (Las Vegas, NV, USA) January 28 – 29, 2023
 

Swing Baseball, in partnership with Baseball For All, is proud to announce the launch of Swing Elite Girls Baseball: a national girls’ baseball program aimed at developing our country’s most promising young talent to help grow the game for future generations.

This January, players from around the United States are invited to try out for this travel team, where the TOP 15 female baseball players from around the country will be selected to join the 14U or 16U roster for 2023. These players will have the opportunity to compete in otherwise “boys’” Majors/AAA baseball tournaments, and further develop their skills to continue to excel at the next level.

The Swing Elite Girls Baseball team will play once a quarter in 2023. Tournament schedules will be announced well in advance for proper planning and travel. This team will ONLY be competing at “boys’” baseball tournaments, and will not be competing as a unit at BFA Nationals. (Players are encouraged to play at BFA Nationals and are welcome to compete with their local teams and programs during this national girls’ baseball event.)

Philly Girls Baseball Club: Open Practice / Clinic (Philadelphia, PA, USA) January 29, 2023
 

Join us at our next all-girls clinic/practice, led by Beth Greenwood at Phield House on 1/29/2022! Registration is free with the option to select a $15 fee to help offset facility costs. 

1:00 – 2:00 pm | 7-9+ Group: intended for 7-9 year olds or any older player who is newer to baseball or learning basic skills)

2:00 – 3:00 pm | 10-16+ Group (intended for experienced players ages 10 and up)

Beth was on the ’22 varsity roster at University of Rochester where she became the first American female catcher to play in an NCAA baseball game. Cape May MAC: Throw Like A Girl: Women in Baseball (Cape May, NJ, USA) January 16 – March 26, 2023

WOMENX: National Girls & Women in Sports Day  (online) February 2, 2023
 

Join us for an evening of intimate conversation with Kelsie Whitmore, professional baseball player and hopeful first woman to play in the MLB, and Dr. Kimberly O’Brien, Clinical Social Worker in the Sports Medicine Division of the Female Athlete Program, where we explore how elite women athletes navigate various mental and physical challenges that might affect their performance on the field. Mental health and its relationship to athletic performance is one of the main topics that will be explore at this year’s Female Athlete Conference. Kelsie will share her experience as well as inquire about the research being done to support women athletes mentally and physically in achieving their pique performance goals. RSVP here

Glenside Public Library District: Margaret, Nellie, and Rose: When Women Played Baseball (Glendate Heights, IL, USA) March 23, 2023
 
In 1934 three teenage girls played hardball on the last traveling bloomer girl baseball team. Their stories include abandonment, loss at sea, early triumphs, world war, and, always, baseball. Margaret, Nellie, and Rose came from different backgrounds and had different reasons for playing baseball. When the season was over they followed different paths — but playing baseball profoundly affected their lives and even helped determine their careers. Girls With Game YYC: Clinic (Calgary, AB, Canada) May 28, 2023
 
On May 28th we will be holding our Second Annual #GirlsWithGameYYC clinic for girls aged 4-16 to experience what it’s like to play baseball and meet other girls with the same ambitions. Registration for the 2023 #GirlsWithGame Clinic will open on February 1st – which just so happens to be International Women and Girls in Sport Day! Girls With Game YYC: Western Canada Girls Baseball Jamboree (Calgary, AB, Canada) June 9-11, 2023

Baseball For All: Nationals (Elizabethtown, KY, USA) July 12-16, 2023
 
The 8th annual BFA Nationals will be hosted in partnership with @ripkenbaseball at the Ripken Experience® Elizabethtown, KY from July 12–16. This year, we’re going bigger than ever, welcoming players ages 7–23 to compete at the largest girls’ baseball tournament in the country. More details to be added as they become avaiable.
