Often a lack of support will push a girl to play another sport or quit baseball all together. Feeling as though a player is \u201caging out\u201d after Little League or not socially connecting on all boy teams once middle school starts, are only some of the obstacles a girl faces trying to stay committed to baseball.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>T.A.G. wants that to change. The League gave over 600 women athletes the opportunity to play professional baseball. The collection was begun in 2005 with the gift of Elizabeth \u201cLib\u201d Mahon\u2019s papers and later acquired\u00a0acquired Jean Faut\u2019s Papers. The Archives has material pertaining to several other players, including Sue Kidd and Ruth Born, as well as the league as a whole.
